This groundnut/nelagadale chutney pudi is packed with punch from garlic, spice from red chilli powder, flavour from curry leaves. Protein from groundnuts, makes it a nutritious side for a meal. Goes well with chapathis, jollada roti (jowar flat bread), sajji roti (bajra flat bread) or curd rice.
Best part they're so easy to make & stays good for 2 months & more if there's no moisture content when you make it.
Ingredients:
100g/1 cup groundnuts
2 tablespoons of red chilli powder
10-12 garlic cloves
2 twigs of curry leaves
Salt for taste
2 tablespoons of cumin
Serves: 5-6
Cooking Time: 6-7 minutes
Total Prep Time: 25 minutes
Preparation Method:
1. Heat groundnuts in a pan, dry roast them until they start to brown on all sides. Keep sauting them for unifrom roasting.
2. Let them cool completely.
3. Grind them along with red chilli powder, cumin, garlic cloves, curry leaves, salt into a coarse powder without adding any water in a very dry mixer jar.
4. Stays good for 2 months & more if there was no moisture content when you made it.
