These pan fried nendran bananas are the easiest, quickest to make. So yum & healthy too.
This is the easiest version of nendra kele phodi you can make. The most ripened bananas make the most delicious phodis. When their peel gets totally black is when they're too soft & taste very sweet & delicious. Please use them then to make phodis.
I eat them as a snack, as an evening snack.
Ingredients:
Prep Time: 3 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 minutes
Preparation Method:
1. Peel & slice bananas. Make them thick, thin, your choice. Tastes great anyways. Not too thin though.
2. Add salt to them, mix, and keep them aside for 3-4 minutes.
3. Heat up a frying pan, keep the slices on the pan next to each other.
4. Add ghee, cook them closed with a lid on, on high flame for 3 minutes. Put off the flame.
5. Overturn them to cook on another side.
6. Cook them closed with a lid on, on high flame for 3 minutes. Put off the flame.
7. Open, enjoy them while hot.
8. If they cool down they lose their super softness & become slightly hard.
Another way to make these pan fried nendran bananas is by using rava, which makes yum spicy, sweet phodis.
