1. Size of brinjals

Broader brinjals = mature
Thin & Slender = tender

2. Stage of development

Broad bottom = mature
Thin bottom = tender

Broad tip = mature
Thin tip = Tender

 



3. Stripes on the side

Thin stripes, few stripes, close together = tender - pic 1

Many broad stripes, far apart, spaced out = mature - pic 2
