Easy Curds Side Dish For Chapathis (Dhaya Gojju)

Need a quick side dish to go with your chapathis on busy weekdays? Are you a bachelor and need a quick, easy, side dish for chapathis? This side dish will make your boring breakfast/lunch/dinner of chapathis interesting and yummy. All you need is 3 minutes! And just about 4 ingredients. This side dish is yum and super easy, super quick to make. Makes a heavenly combo with chapathis. Give it a try.

We call it dhaya gojju in Konkani. Dhaya means curds and gojju means salad in Konkani.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup curds
  • 1 big onion
  • 3 tablespoons of finely chopped fresh coriander
  • Salt to taste

Serves: 2

Preparation Time: 3 minutes

Preparation Method:

1. In a bowl mix well curds, finely chopped fresh coriander, salt and finely chopped onions.

2. Serve with hot chapathis and enjoy. :-)

Side Note: 

You can use grated coconut instead of onions in this side dish. 

Consistency of this side dish is your choice. You can dilute it if you wish by adding little water or you can keep it thick. Both ways it tastes great.
