Sapota/ Sapodilla Milk Shake (Chikoo Milk Shake)

Sapota/ Sapodilla Milk Shake (Chikoo Milk Shake)

The stubborn summer is here and scorching sun is shining brighter than ever. And all I want to do is drink something cold. You feeling the same?

During hot days like these, all we ask for is something chilled. And since it's too hot to cook, we want something that's nutritious too. We want something that is quick and satisfying. Homemade smoothies are our best bet. They're simple, refreshing and nourishing too. This smoothie with sapotas is just that. It's easy to whip up in a blender, is made with real fruit without any preservatives and is healthy and nourishing. It can be made in 3 minutes and best of all is ice cold. How better can it get!

Do yourself a favour by making these quick, easy, fresh juice, healthy juices at home instead of store bought juices that are full of additives, sweetners, flavouring agents and preservatives.

Ingredients:

  • 4 Chikoo's
  • 1 cup chilled milk
  • 1/4 cup organic sugar (make it all the more healthy)
  • Few ice cubes

Serves: 2

Ready in: 3 minutes

Preparation Method:

1. Peel the chikoo's, deseed them, quarter them and add them into a blender.
2. Add in sugar, ice cubes, milk and blend. Serve immediately and enjoy.

P.S:

  • Use a hand blender to reduce the amount of dishes you do. Or this blender to make juicing hassle free and quick. No dishes to do in the end.
  • Add more chilled milk or chilled water if required to get your desired consistency.
  • Swap chilled milk with chilled water to make this juice. The juice without milk tastes yum too. Adding milk also gives you some added Calcium.
  • You can also swap sugar with honey or any sweetner of your choice.
